## Frequently asked questions

### Which cleanup mode should I pick?

Use Magic for everyday phone photos of documents (auto-whitens the background and keeps colour), B & W for printed text where you want crisp black ink on white, Grayscale for mixed text-and-image documents you want flattened, and Gentle when you just want a light normalise without changing the look.

### Can I get a PDF instead of an image?

Yes. Set Format to PDF in the Output tab and we'll wrap the cleaned image into a single-page PDF sized to fit the source.

### Does it deskew or auto-crop?

Not in this version. Quarter-turn rotation is supported, and you can use the Image Resizer crop tool first if you need to trim the edges.

### What file types can I upload?

JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 25 MB. EXIF orientation is honoured automatically so the output isn't sideways.
