## Frequently asked questions

### Does it remove the original background for me?

No. This tool sets the canvas background and adds padding. For best results upload a transparent PNG cut-out. If you upload a photo that already has its own background, we composite it onto the colour you choose as is.

### What sizes can I export?

1000, 1500, 2000, or 3000 pixels square. 2000 × 2000 is what Amazon requires for the main product image. Etsy and Shopify accept any of these.

### Can I use a colour other than white?

Yes. Pick any hex colour. Amazon strictly requires pure white (#FFFFFF) for the main product image, but Etsy and Shopify allow any flat colour.

### JPEG or PNG?

JPEG is smaller and matches what most marketplaces want. Pick PNG if you need a transparent background or you plan to composite the result further yourself.
